
Star One pays an annual fee associated with the Balance Financial Program as a member service. As a result, Star One members have free access to a comprehensive array of financial education, tools and counseling. Star One sponsors many types of workshops throughout the year from financial success and budgeting to planning for college and retirement. The workshops are free to members and non-members. We believe these workshops provide much needed knowledge and awareness to assist our members in navigating the sometimes difficult decisions associated with managing and building a strong financial base of knowledge.

Description: A budget is the most powerful tool available for establishing financial control. After identifying short-, mid-, and long-term goals, participants learn how to design realistic spending plans to live within their means and savings plans to reach their goals. Within that framework, we discuss different options available for getting out of debt, staying out of debt, and maintaining motivation
