Make Deposits Online with Star One's ezDeposit!

Star One's ezDeposit lets you deposit multiple checks in real-time directly into your Star One accounts and Loans from the comfort of your home or office. Using your Internet-connected computer and almost any scanner, checks can be deposited in just a few simple steps. It's like having your own personal Branch or ATM access from work or home.

To use the service, log in to Online Banking, select the "ezDeposit" link, located under the Online Services drop-down menu, and follow the instructions. See the "Help" file within the interface for more details, tips and requirements.

INSTRUCTIONS

After accepting the ezDeposit disclosure, you will see the screens below. 

Try the Java Scanning Wizard.  If you are a returning user, click on the second radio button shown in the red box.  This will walk you through a one-time set-up of the scanning wizard. If you prefer to use the scan and upload method, click here.

 

If you are returning user and you want to use the Java Scanning method, click on the radio button beside, "No, I want to review or correct my scanner settings."  You will only need to do this once.  Click "Continue."

You are ready to scan the front of your check. 

 

Be sure to click on the "SCAN FRONT OF CHECK" button on your screen.  Please do not use the scan button on your scanner.

 

You will be able to review the image of the front of your check.  Notice you can flip or crop the check if necessary.  Be sure to verify that the entire check is visible and that there is no space around the check.  You will need to click on the check boxes to do so.  Then click "Continue."

 

Now scan the back of your check.

Follow the instructions on the screen.

 

Follow the instructions on the screen.  Note above the "Expected Total Amount" and the "Actual total Amount" do not match, and they need to match.  In this case, since the "Expected Total Amount" is highlighted in Oreg, you'll need to review the check.  Click on "Select: in the table and follow the instructions.  When complete, the "Continue" button will show.  Click the "Continue" button.

 

Review your deposit.  Follow the directions on the screen.

 Review your deposit.  If you would like a receipt emailed to you, input the e-mail address in the text box and click "Continue."

 

You're finished.  Be sure to save a copy of your deposited check(s).

To confirm your deposit, log out of Online Banking, and log in again.  Check your transactions.  Your deposit should show.  If it doesn't, please give us a call  at (408) 543-5202 or (866) 543-5202.
