Username FAQs

Q. How do I change my Username?
A. Log in to Online Banking under click on the "My Profile" link, and then select the “Change” link next to the username.

Q. Are there any restrictions on what I can use for my Username?
A. Yes.  Your Alternate Login ID must be between 6 – 20 characters.  It is NOT case sensitive and most special characters are allowed. Usernames cannot be all numbers.

Q. I have more than one membership. Can I use the same Username for different memberships?
A. No.  Each Username must be unique. If you would like to view multiple memberships within one login, please set up a Multiple Membership View. You can find the form inside Online Banking under the "Online Forms" drop-down menu.

Q. Can I login with both - my Username and my Member Number?
A. No. If the Username is setup, you will not be able to login with your member number.

Q. What do I do if I forget my Username?
A. Click on the "Forgot Password?" link on the Star One homepage, next click on the "I forgot my username" link. You may also call a Star One Phone Representative at (866) 543-5202 option 2, or (408) 543-5202 option 2, during Call Center business hours. They will be able to provide your Username to you after identification.

Q. What if I want to revert back to my original Login ID, which was my Member Number?
A. Call a Star One Phone Representative at (866) 543-5202 option 2, or (408) 543-5202 option 2, during regular business hours. 

Q. Is it possible to have more than one Username per membership? 
A. No.  Only one Username per membership is allowed.
