This enhanced security technology protects your identity from whatever computer you're using, whether at home, at the office, or on the go. It identifies you as the true “owner” of your accounts by recognizing not only your password, but your computer as well. If your computer isn’t recognized by us – you’ve logged in from a public computer or one you haven’t used before – we’ll ask you challenge questions as an additional line of defense to prevent unauthorized access. These challenge questions are currently a part of our Forgotten Password feature, however, you will be re-prompted as our question set will be updated.
How it works
The next time you log in to Online Banking, you will add extra security to your computer by clicking one button. This adds a cookie to your web browser, allowing us to identify you the next time you log in. Note the help files on the right side of the page.
First, you will be asked to set up your Challenge Question.

Then you will see a prompt that asks if you would like to set up Enhanced Login Security. You may choose to set it up (future log ins from that computer will not be challenged) or you may opt out (you will be asked the security questions again for this computer).
Finally, you will be asked to sign up.
Be sure to confirm your option in the pop-up box.
It's that simple!
If you log in from a different computer or browser, you will be presented with a challenge question – the same one used for our Forgotten Password feature. If you haven’t set one up yet, you will be prompted to do so.

| Use User Options to make changes. If you choose to unregister your computer, you may do so. Simply click on the User Options icon, then on the "Enhanced Login Security" link. To update your challenge questions, click on the “Challenge Question Setup” link. |
