Star One Credit Union Recognized Among Bay Area's Top Corporate Philanthropists

SUNNYVALE, CA — Star One Credit Union has once again been recognized for its commitment to supporting local communities, earning the 38th spot on the San Francisco Business Times' 2026 Corporate Philanthropy Awards list of the Bay Area's top corporate givers. This recognition is based on the $900,000 total philanthropy contributions Star One donated to 121 nonprofit organizations in 2025.

Representing Star One at the 2026 Corporate Philanthropy Summit & Awards, Kim Hunter, Vice President of Branch Services, and Victoria Tabler, Senior Vice President of Real Estate Lending, joined leaders from across the region to celebrate organizations making a meaningful impact through charitable giving and community engagement.

"We are incredibly proud of this recognition and grateful to everyone who makes our community impact possible," said Kim Hunter. "Our success is a direct reflection of the dedication of our Board of Directors, employees, and Community Involvement Committee, who continually support organizations working to make a difference."

As a member-focused financial institution, Star One remains dedicated to supporting the nonprofit organizations and community programs that help individuals and families thrive.
