Privacy and security
You have relied with confidence on the security of Federal Reserve payment systems for years—for many of your everyday Star One transactions, such as bill pay, direct deposit, wire transfers and ACH (Automated Clearing House) transfers.
We continue our commitment to the highest level of security and privacy by using the Federal Reserve's payment platform to handle your Instant Pay transfers.
Similar to other Federal Reserve payment services, information is sent to other financial institutions through an encrypted, tokenized, and secured electronic process—only the account number, dollar amount, and an optional memo field are shared.
